LOVE ME TENDER....

Come away…
Come away with me..

Dance with me…

In this perfect perfect moonlight…
Hold my hand…

Sway with me slow…

Feel my glittering lips..

Washed away in starlight…

Kiss me slow…

Kiss me tender…

Look me in these..

Starlight star bright eyes…

And when the moon plays hide and seek…

In the silvery cloud lines..

Love me tender…

Hold me tender…

Say you need me..

Say you love me…

MY VERSION OF SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY....

She walks…
And she walks in beauty…

In the enchanted woods..

She walks in beauty..

Streams swiftly flow…

To feel her silky feet…

Wind blows slow…
To touch her glowing grace…

The birds sing no more…

Listen her sing so smooth…

The sun rays hide away…

The light in her eyes, the brighter..

The daffodils dance and sway…

The smell of her skin is tender..

I turn my head, see far far away…

To taste this beautiful wonder…

And when the sunshine turns brighter…

I felt my heart getting lighter..

As I watch her move slow…

When she walks in beauty….

BROWN.. :-)

Brown! You are looking at him. 10 years old, tired, wrinkled, the coat colour fading, yet so faithful..!! This is my neighbor’s dog. He’s a small doggy who grew up to be a mini model of a fox. Well.. I know he’s not so handsome or extraordinary looking. But at this very moment, this is the dog I love the most, out of all the doggies in this world..! He’s sort of a stray. He’s not a caged dog. So he roams around the neighborhood marking his territory, growling at invader dogs and scowling at strangers.

I myself am a huuuge dog fan. Dogs are the most loyal specie of animals out of all. They really mean it when they love you. They really mean it when they come to you lowering their head, wagging the tails and looking at you with pleading eyes. They always think of you as their family. So they protect you, love you, obey you and never betray you. Such wonderful creatures they are! Dogs speak to you if you listen close enough. A cat can never do that for sure!

Brown follows me everywhere when I walk around the neighborhood. If I stay at a place for some time, he just sits and waits for me at the gate. He makes sure to clear the way with a warning to other dogs with a low growl, when he walks with me. When I come home, he jumps up with joy, speaking and his tail wags non-stop like a fan! He knows he gets a share from my plate if he sees me eating. So he never goes away. He stays till I give his share. I only have to call him once, whenever I feel like feeding him or petting him. He always comes running.

Today, I had a good look at him when he visited me. He has aged. In dog years, they only live about 15 years. So.. No sooner, Brown will also be gone. Made me sad to think of it cz he’s such a lovable doggy. I hope you guys also have doggies at your home. Fat ones, tall ones, grumpy ones, playful ones, moody ones, thin ones, short ones, long ones like Weiner doggies and even ‘diggy’ ones who dig and hide the food. No matter the kind, they are all lovable. So love them a lot. Show them that you adore them. You’ll be surprised when you get to know how much they love you when they love you back. Cheers!

THE GROWING HAPPINESS..

Now.. If you happen to read the girl on the move’s blog regularly, you might remember that once she said that she’s gonna plant some good vegetables in her garden. Well… She did it and the outcome is pretty good! Eggplants and chili plants are still growing. Tomatoes didn’t come up good. Pathola flowers have started to bloom. The strawberry plant is going quite well too. Small strawberries come up then and there.

Yet, the best one are the ladies fingers. They have come up really well. See the picture? That's one of them! Everyday there are 3 or 4 to pluck! It’s sooo wonderful to see them growing fast and you get this happy feeling when you pluck them when they’re in full ripe! Well.. The whole ‘growing vegetables’ thing is so cool, sooo.. it will be continued! :D

DEDICATED TO ALL MY SCHOOL BUDDIES....

Just a little piece of my mind, I’m summing up like this… On my way from work today, I bumped into an old friend of mine from school. I met her exactly 10 years after we left school. We talked a great deal of things that happened in our lives for the past 10 years. Guess what? We both have ended up in life pretty much well. The moment I bid her goodbye, I began to wonder about how my friends from school are doing with their lives now… (Them being you all of coz..) :D

See… We all have ended pretty well, haven’t we? Now… as a Devian.. if you turn back and have a look at your life, you will know that I’m telling the truth. Good lives, that is! Surrounded by loving families.. equipped with a good education… good jobs…loving boyfriends… good husbands… adorable kids…. having a wonderful lot of friends… It’s just not photos of some random occasions.. trips or parties that you upload in your FB. It’s again a sign to remind you that you breathe the sweet essence of life in a very beautiful way! See! We LIVE life to the fullest. We ARE happy! We have best of the things in our lives. We really do, don’t we?

You know.. being educated from a leading school in the country is really a huge advantage in many ways. One might think of the competition and the good education only. But Mother Devi is not just another school of that kind. We did get a good education from school; true. But most importantly, it was where we built the good solid foundation of our lives. Devi girls have so many human values in their lives in general, comparatively.

We are selfless.. We care.. We help others in a great deal.. We are always there for each other… This is just a pinch from what we call as human values. We are rich with them.. It’s our school who taught us all these values.. and how to live successful lives with those values. It’s those values that we earned from the past which made us successful today. This is something that we Devi girls have in common. It makes us unique. We can actually turn back and look at our lives and smile, remembering how lucky we are! Can’t we? Yes.. We ARE that rare kind who belong to the breed of ‘happy and successful’.

We love our school so much. This is why we are successful people today. Devi girls… WE ROCK!
